Dr. Teri M. Ayewoh, PhD - Founder/Executive Director

Dr. T is the visionary founder and executive director of DanObe Foundation Inc., where her leadership is driven by a deep commitment to creating meaningful change. With an extensive and diverse background in Social Work, Health Care Management, Mental Health, Counseling & Psychological studies, Addiction Counseling and Direct Instruction in Social-Emotional Learning and Character Development, Dr. T’s expertise spans multiple areas and is impactful. Her dedication to service is reflected in the prestigious Volunteer Service Award she received from President Obama and her experience as a former volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Guardian ad Litem in Douglas County. These experiences, coupled with her philanthropic work, underscore her unwavering commitment to uplifting others. Dr. T’s compassionate leadership is the cornerstone of DanObe Foundation’s mission, guiding its efforts to create lasting, positive change in the community.

Throughout her career, Dr. T has been a passionate advocate for the well-being of individuals and families, leveraging her extensive expertise in mental health to tackle complex challenges. Her impactful work as a school-based mental health therapist with the Cobb/Douglas County Community Service Board in the Douglas County School System exemplifies her dedication to supporting those in need. Johanne Pierrette - Chief Operating Officer (COO)/Secretary/Acting Treasurer

Johane Pierrette serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Secretary, and acting Treasurer of the DanObe Foundation, bringing a wealth of experience in management, sales, tax preparation, and quality auditing. Originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Johane has lived in Douglasville, Georgia for over a decade and is bilingual.

With a solid track record in diverse professional roles, including Senior Sales Associate and Tax Preparer at Alliance Tax Solutions, Johane has developed exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence. Her experience as a Quality Auditor further demonstrates her dedication to precision, ensuring that every task is executed to the highest standard. In her current roles at DanObe Foundation, she manages the organization’s financial operations and ensures compliance, contributing to its overall efficiency and success.

Outside of her professional life, Johane is a proud mother of four children, finding balance and joy in spending quality time with her family. An avid cook, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes and sharing her culinary creativity, which reflects her passion for innovation and excellence.

Angela Robles - Community Liaison & Advocacy Director

Angela Robles serves as the Community Liaison & Advocacy Director at DanObe Foundation Inc., bringing over 15 years of dedicated advocacy to the Douglas County, Georgia community. With a strong focus on child development and family support, Angela has been instrumental in various initiatives to enhance the well-being of children and families.

As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Guardian ad Litem volunteer for four years, Angela played a pivotal role in providing guidance and support to numerous children and families navigating the legal system. Her advocacy ensured that vulnerable children's voices were heard and their best interests were upheld.

During her six-year tenure as a Bilingual Parent Liaison, Angela demonstrated her exceptional ability to foster collaboration. She built crucial bridges between parents and educators, facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the educational system. Her efforts contributed to creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for children and families from diverse backgrounds, leaving a lasting positive impact.

Rae-chelle Clark - Communications and Volunteer Coordinator and Director

Rae-chelle serves as the dedicated Communications and Volunteer Coordinator and Director of DanObe Foundation. Rae-Chelle is a deeply compassionate and dedicated individual with a profound commitment to serving her community. She brings a unique perspective to her role, ensuring effective coordination of volunteers and seamless execution of community service initiatives. Her genuine commitment to serving others shines through in every task she undertakes as she strives to foster a culture of compassion and collaboration within the organization and beyond.

Rae-Chelle’s passion for helping others is the foundation of everything she does. She is a firm believer that compassion, service, and community have the power to transform lives. Currently pursuing a nursing degree, Rae-Chelle is expanding her ability to serve and support those in need through both her professional and academic journey.

Her education enriches her understanding of the vital role healthcare and volunteerism play in making a difference. Outside of her studies and work, Rae-Chelle is a devoted wife and mother, and her personal experiences have further fueled her passion for supporting individuals and families in need. Ana Lyllian Menjivar-Couch - Board Vice Chair

Ana Lyllian Menjivar-Couch serves as the Vice Chair of the board of directors of DanObe Foundation Inc., bringing a wealth of expertise and dedication to her role. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Georgia Certified School Counselor, Ana possesses diverse skills that enable her to effectively support and improve the lives of others.

Throughout her career, Ana has demonstrated a deep commitment to serving various populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and senior citizens. She believes strongly in the power of empathy, kindness, and self-belief as tools for empowerment and guiding individuals toward positive change.

As a mother of three, Ana values the importance of family and enjoys spending time with her loved ones. Driven by her passion for service and a desire to make a meaningful impact, she is dedicated to advancing the mission and vision of DanObe Foundation through her leadership. Janelle Pierrette - Grant Development & Writer Specialist

Janelle Pierrette serves as the Grant Development & Writer Specialist at DanObe Foundation Inc., where she leverages her extensive background in international relations and community engagement to secure vital funding and support for the organization. With a BA in International Relations and a Minor in Public Health from Agnes Scott College, Janelle possesses a robust understanding of global dynamics and public health issues, further enriched by her semester at the Brussels School of Governance.

Her professional experience includes internships at The Carter Center, where she researched funders and philanthropic trends, and at FullCircle, where she supported fundraising campaigns, demonstrating her proficiency in strategic planning and resource mobilization. At Agnes Scott College, she excelled as a Career Ambassador and Teaching Assistant, showcasing her organizational skills and commitment to academic excellence.

Janelle's leadership extends to her roles as Secretary of the UNICEF Club and Vice President of UKIRK Atlanta, where she managed activities and promoted social justice. Her involvement with Georgia Interfaith Power and Light underscores her dedication to environmental sustainability.

Actively engaged in community service, Janelle has organized successful fundraising events with UNICEF and the Muslim Student Association to support earthquake relief efforts and empower women in need. Her dedication to making a positive impact is evident in all her endeavors, and she continues to advance the mission and vision of DanObe Foundation through her role as Grant Development & Writer Specialist.

Abegail Berkeley - Program and Event Director/Acting Board Chair

Abegail Berkeley serves as the Program and Event Director, as well as the acting Chair of the Board of Directors, at DanObe Foundation Inc. She brings a dynamic and diverse skill set to her role, with expertise in Computer Information Systems, Managerial Science, and Special Education. This unique combination of technical knowledge, management experience, and understanding of special needs enables her to navigate the multifaceted demands of her position with exceptional efficiency and effectiveness.

Abegail’s passion for service is deeply rooted in her unwavering commitment to improving the lives of underprivileged families. She is dedicated to planning, developing, and executing a wide array of programs and events that align with the foundation’s mission of fostering community transformation through compassionate outreach.

Chantal serves as a board member of the Danobe Foundation Inc., bringing with her a diverse and impactful background in criminal justice and sociology and over a decade of experience in early childhood education. Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to understanding the social structures that shape communities and education's foundational role in a child's development.

Chantal is passionate about giving back to her community and channels this passion into her work with the Danobe Foundation. As a board member, she is committed to acting in the organization's best interest, ensuring that its mission to empower and uplift those in need is advanced effectively. She is crucial in guiding the foundation's strategic direction, ensuring all initiatives align with the organization's goals and objectives, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Janay Mosley- Social Media Director

Janay is the Social Media Director at DanObe Foundation Inc. A proud Georgia native, Janay has called Douglasville, GA, home for over 20 years. She has a diverse professional background in the Natural Gas Industry, where she gained experience assisting residential and commercial customers and consulting with builders on the benefits of gas appliances. Her marketing and computer information systems expertise enables her to strategically enhance the foundation’s online presence.

As Social Media Director, Janay is committed to creating and implementing dynamic social media strategies that engage the community and further the foundation’s mission. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and computer information systems from Georgia State University and is pursuing her master’s at the University of West Georgia.

Janay is a devoted mother to her son, a sophomore at Georgia State University. In her free time, she enjoys singing in her church choir, vacationing near beautiful, clear waters, and spending quality time with her family. As a passionate advocate for outreach, Janay aims to develop programs for teen moms like herself to access crucial resources and opportunities for success. She is also dedicated to helping small businesses and organizations, including DanObe Foundation Inc., harness the power of social media to increase engagement and drive their missions forward.

Her leadership ensures the foundation’s active and impactful social media presence, fostering connections with the public and driving meaningful change in the community.
